This one's identity is uncertain. I received it as a bonus from a seller who had it misnamed, BUT the name was fairly close to a registered cultivar, Mary White. So when it bloomed, I sent pics to Mary White's hybridizer, Lloyd Zurbrigg (now sadly deceased). Lloyd said that the pics and my description matched MW in all respects EXCEPT beard color, which was registered as apricot. Now the pics I sent Lloyd might not have accurately displayed the beard color of the living flower, or perhaps my soil chemistry or climate altered the color somewhat. Or maybe I just don't know exactly what color "apricot" is (or what Lloyd's interpretation of apricot was). So this plant may or may not be Mary White. Whoever she is, she's very tall and very stately, not to mention tough as nails and a reliable bloomer no matter how horrible the climate is in any given year.

TB 'Mary White' (maybe)
