All except one of the branches have at least 1/3rd or more of the bark stripped off, a couple were bare completely around the branch. There is new growth coming up from the base. I have pruned out about half of the branches. Should I keep going? Should I leave the ones that are still producing leaves and prune them out later this year or wait till next year to give the new growth a chance to take over? |
