The weaned calves eat in the barn that the coop is attached and DH puts the calf manure right outside the door in the corral and I just throw the chicken manure on that pile. In the spring we spread the pile with a manure spreader on the hay field just before it starts to come up and then DH harrows it to spread it out more. Everything is utilized. Thanks for the compliment on my girls. No they don't free range anymore.
