That's sad that your attempts at the other poppies have not been succesful, i wonder why? they grow easily for me, like weeds! i have grown a few different varieties of P.somniferum, and have collected lots of seed for a scatter mix, sort of throw it about the garden and forget. and they come up well. i have seed to share if you'd like some, mail me! poppies are really beautiful, even the foliage is a standout, i have been collecting seeds from internet sources, for our next winter here. should be a wonder of colors next Spring. the pic is of another variety of Escholtzia, it was called 'Mother of Pearl' grown from seed. bye for now. arte. |
