I am helping my next door neighbor clear out her yard - Long story, but the link to the info is here http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/716309/
The question I need help on is that she has several island beds that we are going to take out and relocate some of the plants. Several of those beds has quite a few iris growing in there and I have no idea what the colors (other than one that looks kind of pale pink) are and also no idea if we'll be able to fit them in the new beds we are making for her. OK... here's the question finally... How can I save these iris after we dig them up so that they don't die and I can either use them in her front bed later or take them to a plant swap in June? Thanks SO much!! I can't stand to see a plant thrown out!! Michelle
