Bird Watching: update on the great horned owl, 1 by betterbloom

Still no babies to be seen, but should be soon. I watched Mom owl for awhile today and she was very hot and panting, it has been getting close to 100 and the nest is in the direct sun light. In the previous years the tree had lots of braches and the nest was always in shade so I am hoping her and the birds will be alright. It will be getting to 120 here soon. As you can see, she is not much of a housekeeper, her nest is a mess !
