I cross French Creek twice every morning and that morning, when I arrived at work (about a mile down the road) I made it about halfway across the parking lot before I turned around, got back in the car and called in "late." I went back and spent almost an hour photographing the sunrise. It was one of those magical mornings that really make you feel alive.
