My lavender's new foliage is just riddled with little pockmarks from these darned bugs. The insects have red heads, a bit of black, then more red. They're a little over 1/10" long. They're fast, too. Are they nymphs to the boxelder bug? They're so tiny! Here at this http://davesgarden.com/journal/si/6630.html is a picture of the bug, squashed but still fairly clear. ;)
