I've moved mine several times and they've bloomed well after moving - they say they don't like being moved but I have not found that to be the case for mine. I did find this year I gave them less water and almost all of them bloomed really wonderfully - I've got about 30.

I would put it in the ground. I moved all of mine about this time last year. The leaves will yellow and die back so mark your spot!
