DO NOT MULCH TALL BEARDED IRIS--they will rot! I plant them on mounds and mulch around the base of the mounds. Or just keep the mulch away by a couple of inches. bearded iris like to be dry. I use wood chips & grass for mulch in my beds.

I am afraid that I have not scanned in all my spring iris photos--got waylaid by summer trips, Round ups & daylily beds.
