I’m new to vines and gardening in general, and I have a coral honeysuckle (Lonicera sempervirens) that is growing and blooming fine , however I am wondering if I should prune it or deadhead to get more blooms.

It appears to have two kinds of shoots, one with the flower like the pic below and one that just grows.

If I do deadhead, should I cut it above or below the “round” leaf right below the flowers?

Thanks for any help and/or education.
