When I do this, I make sure I cut off at least 6 to 8 strong stems and place around the plant. Trust me, it will root it self, and your mother plant will become round and full. Here in Northern Michigan, Mums start to bloom around middle September, and by stopping the pinching back by Aug 1st, this insures me to have some beautiful blooms.... |
