It is airy looking and the blooms are gorgeous, But, it has its pitfalls. It spreads out not up and may take a lot of training to fit into one's landscape, the dropping blooms can cause problems (debri on cars, sidewalks, other plants, etc.) as well as the seed pods. The branches break easily in high winds. Although it is listed as invasive in some states, my Mother's tree has never caused a problem.
