Ivy - I like the contrast in form, too, with the Agastache and Purple Coneflower. I'm not familiar with Agastache, is it an annual? How high does it get? I have another variety of Purple Coneflower called 'Ruby Star'. The petals flare out rather than droop down and the colour is much more intense. I lucked out by planting it next to the phlox. Purple Coneflower 'Ruby Star' with Phlox maculata 'Rosalinde' (earlier blooming than the paniculatas): Edited to change Phlox 'Miss Pepper' to Phlox 'Rosalinde' This message was edited Jul 26, 2005 3:05 PM |
