Perennials: Salvia Brillantaisia, 2 by jwookey

A gardener friend gave me this Salvia Brillantaisia last summer and I have successfully overwintered it in my conservatory. There is nothing on UK websites about its care, but have seen it on yours I am assuming it needs full sun. How big can I expect it to grow the first year and can I take cuttings from it at the end of the season – or wd it survive if I brought it inside? Grateful for any advice.
