Hmmm, wonder if Midnight Marvel is in the same boat as Lord Baltimore (used to have that one). Never seen a seed pod stay on the plant but the other ones I have make copious amounts of seed. The hibiscus sawflies have made lace of my Midnight Marvel and Confederate Rose and some Roses of Sharon this year.
