Australian and New Zealand Gardening: Plant/weed ID , 2 by chrysies

Hi there. I have tried to identify this plant/weed to make sure if it is safe to give to my birds. There are so many toxic plants out there, so I have to be sure. I checked weed files in Australia and have not been able to find it. It is low growing, soft, has no smell, no prickles or thorns, no flowers showing, growing in lawn and garden beds.
