They are often very deep holes and can go straight down, diagonally down or under things like paving. There is never any evidence of digging - it's like they just appear. What could be making these? As a rough size they measure the size of a golf ball in diameter. There are never any prints nor droppings nor is there any debris at all around the hole. Please help - it's driving me mad! I am based in south east England.
