They come in separate colors, so you could purchase a light color like white, yellow, pink, or lavender to assure a \"lighter shade\". Unlike most perennials, they have a relatively long blooming period. You probably should spray them with a systemic fungicide to prevent Powdery Mildew in the Fall. I breed zinnias as a hobby, so I am a bit partial to them. ZM |
