My current gardening infatuation is trying to grow alpines in St Louis (because I have pretty much ceded my yard to the animals). Most have been spectacular flops - but a few have survived and some actually look happy. While it is most certainly analogous to the 'square peg in a round hole' situation, I find it quite entertaining. |
