Linda, I was wrong about the mushroom sitting on a metal spike, The mushroom is growing right where the metal spike had been stuck up in that spot.
I haven\'t been seeing many mushrooms in the last few years, now I\'m starting to see them again. I had a Devils snuffbox until
something kicked it and dislodged it..
