had a lovely day off yesterday, did a couple of loads of washing & other house work.
Went out to Rangiora, just north of ChCh to visit friends & look at their 10 day old mini schnauzer puppies.
Such wee sweeties, mind you all pups are adorable no matter the breed.
Today was dog club day, our championship show & I stewarded the top test.
22 entered which is good.
So glad the weather was fine all weekend for it, bit windy but the ground was soft so we used tent pegs to push one corner of the scent cloths down & they all stayed put.
All the dogs retrieved the correct cloth so that was really nice to see as some days they make a mess of things & pull the cloths out of the pattern & it makes extra work for the steward who has to reset the pattern again.
I always asked to run Chita last in scent as she had a habit of picking each cloth up & tossing it aside if it wasn't right...
when they saw her little act they were always pleased to have let me go last.
I have a mystery creeper coming through the fence from next door...
I had been pulling it off as I am concerned it will break the fence. Yesterday I noticed that it has flowered & is actually rather pretty.
Can anyone suggest an id for it?
