I think they're striking - my wife thinks they're gross. #3 is the same plant earlier this spring (late March) when it was in full bloom. It's nice for those of us who don't have much full sun to still be able to enjoy peonies! Edited to say we cross posted, GE. Very pretty flowers. My sedums didn't do well this year. Not sure why.
