Makes the plants bushy, but, delays flowering. I am pretty sure that it's generally used only on broad leaf plants. Might be worth trying since it is not expensive. I have used Florel and one of the 'side effects' is that treated plants will blooms out of their normal season about 6-7 weeks after treatment.
