This last year we planted two rows of them one row was more shallow barely in the ground and the other planted deeper. The deeper row was harvested early for spring onions and the shallow row let in the ground much longer and we had much nicer onions than the years before. I'm not sure how big they are but they were bigger and nicer than previous years.
