I've had this lone tomato plant growing for months in one of the five gallon containers. Bugs got the tomatoes, but I keep watering and fertilizing it. Well, I was looking at it today and low and behold, I have about 7-8 small tomatoes growing on it. We've had some pretty cool nights and even days, so I think the bug problem may not be an issue now. I have some Snap Sugar Sprint Pea seeds and I was told that now is the time to grow them. :-) I love fresh snap peas! Yum! So I may be starting some of those as well. Fall is probably the time to grow veggies in Florida because our spring is so short. Fall lasts a lot longer. Sometimes until late January or February, so you know what I will be growing next! LOL! |
