Now I have to go out, examine the plants in situ, make an ID, post a correction and hide in embarrassment until everyone forgets. In-hand examination IDs plant as Bidens polylepis, commonly known as a tickseed sunflower. Contrary to the Plant Files it is a separate species from Biden aristosa.
