Top speed about eight miles an hour using one hundred and ten pounds of steam preasure. We rented a caboose turned RV on rails to enjoy the headwaters of the Greenbriar River in the Cheat Mountains of West Virginia as well as the train ride. There were no bears to snitch our food stock. The caboose was our home for two days. Otherwise the trip was a hoot. Someone did this last year which is what led us to this different vacation. The whole people thing from managent to employees were outstanding which makes for a great experience. The story will be told with no more text. Give me time to post about twenty pix and a noted final pix. |
