There's also a variegated Pieris, 'Flaming Silver' http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/55014/ planted at the end of the border to the left of the variegated Brunnera. We also included two varieties of Ligularia, 'Britt Marie Crawford' http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/72948/ and 'Little Rocket' behind the Brunnera. In the background, Magnolia 'Ann' http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/53112/ is planted on the left. The large tree with the ribbon will be coming down at some point so we wanted something larger to fill this area. The other two arrows are where two more Weigelas were planted. We were supposed to add a few more plants along the edges of the storage shed to "dress" it up but that project will have to wait until next year! |
