Notice how the leaves grow around the stem in a circular pattern.

When both plants are small, their leaves are nearly identical except for the growth pattern, and many people are cultivating this in their yards thinking that it is caesalpinia. By the time the critter reaches 3 or 4 ft and is covered in these fuzzy brown ugly "fruits", it is too late, and they are all over the place.

In these pictures, the difference seems obvious, but trying to explain it to folks and seeing the blank look on their faces has me in a real dilema...keep trying or let them be?
