I did try and remove some of the invasive other species (we have several unfortuneately) around here; incl. mugwort, burning bush and the multiflora rose. We did dig up the multiflora rose; which, I hated to do because it was so beautiful. Well, actually, my husband had to dig it up and hack out the roots! another good wildlife 'berry' shrub to consider would be some of the viburnum cultivars this was the multiflora we dug up |
