I'd wouldn't hesitate to call it a Hoary. They are common on the north side of the Alaska Range, but seldom seen on the south side of the mountains where I am. This is a Pine Grosbeak I shot this morning. A few Grosbeaks were among dozens of Redpolls at a feeder. Gary |
