Next year it was bigger and deeper, and this year bigger and deeper yet, with a small waterfall (requiring a second pump). He doesn't want fish, but frogs have moved in and there are pollywogs now. The lillies are from ebay and doing well. The pond is about 12" deep, and gets full sun. No filter system yet, but he keeps threatening. Nice to sit on the porch with a glass of wiine and listen to the water.
