Thought I'd add a few photos of the back yard while the beds are still rather bare. A couple daylilies are blooming. The bright one here is a species daylily, Middendorffi. It has been blooming heavily since May 5. Always the first to bloom and blooms again in the fall. On the far left by the fence there are some Valerian in bloom. The arbor is new this year. I bought a couple Red clemetis to grow on it. Still need to get them in the ground. The back garden is mostly reds, yellow, gold, orange and purple, but a little of every color sneaks in here and there.
