Fruits and Nuts: Late-Ripening Peaches? Or what?, 0 by CarolJeanie

These other two look like they may just now be starting to get ripe. Actually one looks as if the peaches may be ripening, while the other still has pretty yellow peaches. Any suggestions? Will these peaches ripen any time soon? Or are they a sore of hit-or-miss loss because this is only the second season they have been in the ground?
