cnswift wrote: Hi, I have several liquidambar trees and two are not as healthy as I'd like. I had a consulting arborist come to my home to diagnose what might improve the trees, and he suggested backing off the water and to add fertilizer. He reccommended fertilizing with a product called grow-power plus (5-3-1) which very mild mixed with sulpher coated urea nitrogen. I since have had several people sternly warn against using the nitrogen! Does anyone have any experience with using this on trees? I don't want to burn them, but a nice growth spurt would be great. The photo is of two trees. The left is in distress, and the right is healthy. Thanks, Christina This message was edited Jun 7, 2006 8:45 PM |
