Irises: a visit to a local iris garden, 0 by lilyfantn

I've been so busy with the end of school activities here (I'm a teacher's aide in an elementary school) AND trying to get the garden all spiffy as things start to bloom so I haven't posted much lately. I recently visited a few iris gardens in my area in the company of two of my daylily club cohorts who also happen to be iris afficionados too! I took tons of pictures and wanted to share some them with you. This garden had TONS of the most beautiful healthy HUGE iris flowers I have ever seen. As soon as I got home I started tilling up more lawn lol! I should add that this was a very sunny day so some of the shots are over exposed and I may have some of the iris misslabeled as sometimes it was hard to tell which marker went with which flower. If there is no name on the photo it means I couldn't find the marker.
