But - - * another seedling of mine took best seedling and won the EC award. Exhibition Certificate (EC) A certificate awarded to top seedlings in an AIS certified show. (irises not yet introduced to commerce at show) *.

The Iris show was early this year and irises are late to bloom this year - - as a result many, many seedlings were not able to make it to the show this year for judging.
