Daphne odora is extremely fragrant and evergreen foliage. 'Aureo-Marginata' is a particularly nice cultivar with variegated foliage. Although marginally hardy for us in Zone 6a, it has been in the gardens for three years with no dieback and the "perfume" carries throughout the yard in early spring.
